Comments About Our ProductAt the Carolina boat show in Raleigh NC, I was talking to you how much I like St. Croix rods and I found out after fishing with one of your rods all season that your rods are in a catagory of its own. There is no other rod that I have found that performs like yours. I feel everything from the dollar bill rubbed across the tip, to that rock on the bottom of the lake, heck I even felt the blade of grass off the shore. Not to mention the bass biting my bait. Keep up the good work. At first I was sceptical of spending 200 plus dollars on a rod other then a St. Croix, but after talking to Mr. Kipper for a while and feeling a dollar bill thump the tip of the rod, I bought the rod having no idea about it. Now after a year of using the rod, it was the best 200 plus dollars I have ever spent on a fishing rod. I feel everything from grass to rocks to the faintest bites. I will be buying the rest of my future rods from Kipper. I admire his work, and the quality, strength, light weight of this rod. Hi Sonja & Kip I just had to drop you guys a line to say how much I love my new Kippersticks. I finally got to use them this past weekend at the Md. Rally on North East River. Man what a great rod you make. I can't say enough about them. They just feel so good in my hands. My new short handle spinning rod made it a breeze at skipping tubes under docks & cover. I was fishing a covered boat slip in one marina & hooked a bass, that might very well been in double digits. It pulled him out from the pilings & from under the dock to where it came completely out of the water to throw the tube only 3 feet from the boat. But it was sure exciting for a time. The short handle baitcasters worked just as well. One for casting small crankbaits into tight cover & around boat docks & the other as a jerk bait rod. All 3 rods caught fish for me this week and I know they will be catching fish for me for a long time. I sure am glad that Gunny told me about your rods. I show & tell everyone I can, how good they fish. As I'm typing this Email I'm looking at a new Pfueger President spinning reel on my computer desk that needs a rod. Just as soon as I can get some saved up I'll be calling on you again for another Kipperstick. From a #5 balsa shad rap to a 1/2 fat free shad, this is THE best casting, best retrieving, best fish playing rod I have ever had my hands on. It has the weight and feel of a graphite rod and the action of a glass rod. Just enough back bone to get the hooks in the fish and then a noodle for perfect fish playing, forgiveness on quick jerks, and ease of cast. This rod coupled with a good crankn bait caster like a Lews and ALL IS RIGHT WITH THE WORLD, fish or no fish! :-) Special thanks to Kip and Sonja for being so great to work with!
