About Us

KipperSticks Custom Rods was established in February 2006 by Kip and Sonja Harris.  Kip had been building rods several years before 2006 for himself,  family and friends that the demand for custom rods was so great, he decided to start a business. 

Since 2006, KipperSticks has been involved in the Saltwater and Bass Fishing Expos, held in Raleigh, NC, Greensboro, NC, and Richmond, VA, which all 3 takes place every January.  Also, the Fredericksburg Outdoor show has been a part of our agenda for the past couple years held in February.  KipperSticks has supported the Orange County High School Anglers in Orange, VA the past 3 years.
